Alleys are plowed the same time as the side streets and in most part using a pickup plow; if snowfall is deep and heavy, we then use a front-end loader with a plow attachment. There are generally 3 passes made in alleys to widen them out.Snow & Ice

When we get snow early in the season (October - December), and the ground isn't frozen, it is very difficult for a plow driver to distinguish where the yard ends and the street starts on streets with no curb and gutter. This is usually only a problem on the first snowfall. Once the streets are plowed, the plow driver has a guide to go by with the windrow of snow from previous snowfalls.Snow & Ice

Copies of police reports can be requested in person at the Waite Park Police Department or by emailing records@ci.waiteparkpd.mn.us. Reports will be ready in about 7-10 days.
When requesting a police report, please explain what information you are looking for. If you know the case number, please include it in your request. If you would like reports related to a specific person or address, please provide as much information as you can.
You may be charged a fee for the information you are requesting. Report fees are $0.25 per page. Pictures and copies of CDs are extra.
Only public information will be released without a signed release from the person named in the report.
Active cases will not be released from our office. You will need to contact the City or County Attorney who is working the case and make the request through their office.
How to Request a Copy of a Police Report

State accident reports will be available approximately 1-3 days after the accident. Only a person listed on the state accident report may obtain a copy of the report, unless they have a signed authorized release from the driver or vehicle owner (listed on the report). Many insurance companies will request a copy of the state accident report directly from the police department on your behalf.

You must be a City of Waite Park resident, and your driver's license address must match your home address. Permits can be printed and dropped off or picked up at the Police Department. If approved, your permit will arrive in the mail in about 2 weeks.Police Department

The Police Department cannot provide you a copy of your driving record. Your driving record is maintained by the MN Dept of Driver and Vehicle Services and must be requested from them. The request form is available here. The form is named Record Request Form PS2502.
